I have been visiting this practise for 8 years and I have yet to be disappointed! Lovely surgery!

Communication between the Doctors & the Reception has been lacking. My last 2 phone calls to reception with simple Questions to be answered, which should have been evident in my records have resulted in the receptionist requesting me to make another appointment when all I needed was a simple answer. A waste of an appointment, I am concern about wasting the Doctors time.

Virtually impossible to get an appointment here, first available appointment to see any GP more than 2 weeks away, to see the nurse a month! Be prepared for major interrogation by receptionist if you need a same day appointment, and that will not be with a qualified doctor. Continually changing list of GPs always a concern.

Not always easy to get an appointment by telephone. It seems the only way to be sure of getting an appointment the day you need attention, you have to turn up in person and even then you may not get to see your Doctor of choice.

When needed I have always been able to get an appointment in a reasonable time, ie same day or next day. The only problem beingis if you want to see a specific doctor such as Dr. King or Dr McKenzie, you may have to wait a bit longer. I would like a way of seeing someone for minor queries/ailments without having to waste the doctor's time. Recently I saw the duty doctor to have a minor procedure on a lump on my little finger which was caused by arthritis. This involved using a sterile needle to release fluid from the lump. It is something that can keep reoccurring and I feel that having to see the doctor for such a trivial thing is a waste of their time. Hence I left it several months before I did anything about it and by this time it was really angry and inflamed.
